About the Role
Are you a Senior Test Automation Engineer looking for your next permanent opportunity? As part of an Agile delivery team, you'll lead the development and maintenance of scalable test automation solutions across web, API, and mobile applications, contributing to an environment that values quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and implement end-to-end automated testing frameworks
- Write and maintain BDD scenarios, from feature files to step definitions
- Model data into testable objects and demonstrate strong data parsing techniques
- Perform peer code reviews and uphold coding standards
- Contribute to the documentation of test and automation processes
- Work collaboratively across squads in an Agile environment
- Languages & Tools: Java, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, RemoteWebDriver
- API Testing: Contract testing using POJOs from OpenAPI Swagger YAMLs
- CI/CD: Jenkins on OpenShift, integrated testing pipelines
- Agile Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence
- Senior-level experience in test automation across enterprise systems
- Strong BDD knowledge with ability to create feature files and supporting code
- Skilled in object modelling and automated data manipulation
- Clear understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience working on complex or large-scale programmes of work
