ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead the development of a scalable and modular test automation framework, playing a critical role in supporting the upgrade and modernisation of industrial control systems.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Design and build a robust, modular test automation framework using Python.
  • Develop automated test suites to validate OPC UA server/client communications, security configurations, and data models.
  • Simulate and test telemetry scenarios, including fault conditions and performance under load.
  • Validate security policies, encryption methods, and role-based access controls.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with industrial standards.
  • Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to building best practice frameworks.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong Python programming skills with experience building custom automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as pytest, pytest-html, and Allure.
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Linux backend systems
NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiarity with Python OPC UA libraries (opcua, asyncua).
  • Developing simulation and mocking environments for industrial data testing.
  • Familiarity with time-series data validation and event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of OPC UA protocol and industrial communication standards.
  • Experience working with SCADA systems, PLCs, or industrial IoT environments.
  • Knowledge of OPC UA security practices, including encryption, certificates, and authentication.
