About the role:
- We are looking for a Senior Data Consultant to help shape and drive a business-wide data and AI strategy. Working internally within a forward-thinking organisation, you will lead the development of pragmatic, high-impact data solutions across the Microsoft technology stack, with a focus on data visualisation, analytics, and AI adoption.
- This is a pivotal role that blends deep technical capability with strategic thinking, partnering with stakeholders across the business to enable smarter, data-driven decisions.
- Develop and implement analytical solutions to complex business challenges.
- Lead the design and delivery of Power BI and SharePoint-based reporting tools.
- Define and execute a data and AI strategy, including automation and machine learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data transformation.
- Lead best practices in data governance, quality, security, and compliance.
- Engage business stakeholders to ensure analytical solutions meet strategic objectives.
- Proven experience delivering data and analytics solutions using Power BI, SharePoint, Power Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong skills in SQL and Python for data modelling, analysis, and automation.
- Experience developing and implementing AI/ML roadmaps, with a focus on business value and responsible AI practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance and integration across enterprise systems.
- Ability to work across business and technical teams, translating ideas into actionable outcomes.
