We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in data-focused delivery to join a high-profile programme in the banking sector. You’ll work across complex data initiatives, providing the analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement needed to deliver outcomes at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage with business and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document data-related requirements
- Write clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for data projects
- Perform data mapping, documentation, and governance activities to ensure data quality and compliance
- Use strong SQL skills to query and validate data sets
- Work with large data sources in Excel to support analysis, reporting, and reconciliation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on complex data projects in banking or financial services
- Strong SQL querying skills (e.g. SELECT * FROM)
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
- Demonstrated experience writing clear business requirements and documentation
- Solid understanding of data mapping, governance, and documentation practices
- Ability to hit the ground running and deliver in high-pressure environments
- Immediate availability or a maximum of 2 weeks’ notice
