- We are seeking a experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, enterprise scale data and analytics initiatives. This role requires a strong background in delivering data platforms or data products, not just application delivery.
- You will operate in high complexity environments where scope, dependencies, and delivery risks evolve, requiring strong governance, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end to end delivery of large scale data and analytics workstream
- Lead governance, reporting, and delivery assurance across complex environments
- Identify, manage, and proactively mitigate risks, dependencies, and escalations
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including business and technical leaders
- Lead cross functional delivery teams and mentor other project managers
- Ensure alignment between business outcomes and technical delivery
Experience and Skills Required
- Extensive experience delivering large, complex data platform or data analytics projects within enterprise environments
- Proven success managing high risk initiatives with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
- Strong experience delivering data platforms or data products, not just application focused projects
- Demonstrated application of project management methodologies including:
- Waterfall or PRINCE2 in structured governance environments
- Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban for iterative delivery
- Hybrid delivery models combining agile execution with stage gate governance
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
- Proven leadership experience managing delivery teams and other project managers
- Solid understanding of data and technology delivery contexts where scope and requirements evolve
- Familiarity with data ingestion and data pipeline concepts
- Ability to identify delivery risks and dependencies within technical plans
- Confident reviewing and challenging technical approaches at a high level
