We are seeking an experienced Lead or Principal Engineer to join a high performing engineering environment focused on large scale API development and system integration.
This is a senior level role where you will combine hands on engineering expertise with technical leadership. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable integration solutions across complex enterprise systems, while mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build high volume, scalable APIs across enterprise platforms
- Develop and support event driven architectures using Kafka
- Build and maintain synchronous integration processes across systems
- Integrate internal platforms with third party vendor solutions
- Collaborate across digital, mobile, CRM, and other enterprise systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering squads
- Influence architectural decisions and promote best practice engineering standards
Must Have
- Strong experience with C# and .NET to build APIs in enterprise environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and API gateway technologies such as Kong
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar tooling
- Experience working with Kafka or similar event driven technologies
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working in cloud native environments
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- Exposure to workflow or orchestration tools such as Temporal
- Work on large scale, enterprise integration programmes with real business impact
- Exposure to modern engineering practices and cloud native technologies
