ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an IT Support person to join a national firm known for delivering high-quality professional services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an onsite environment and values direct user interaction and strong team culture.
You will be responsible for resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems, while also contributing to broader IT projects. As part of the support team, you will be expected to handle a mix of user support, system administration, and documentation tasks, all while maintaining a high standard of communication and customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver frontline support for all IT-related issues, including desktop, laptop, and mobile device support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking protocols.
- Configure and maintain end-user hardware and core business applications.
- Participate in technology upgrades, rollouts, and internal IT projects.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and support records.
- Provide on-call support as part of a rostered schedule.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a technology support role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
- Technical expertise in:
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Windows 10/11 and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Active Directory (password resets, user/group management)
- Mobile device support (iOS, Android)
- IT qualification or certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation) is desirable.
