Looking to flex your API expertise without spending your whole day coding? We're on the hunt for an API Specialist who thrives at the intersection of technical strategy, solution design, and cross-team collaboration.
In this role, only 30% of your time will be spent coding — the rest is about driving smart design decisions, influencing architecture, and shaping the future of integration platforms.

Be the brains, not just the hands:
Lead API and integration design that sets the standard for scale, security, and simplicity.
Modern tooling:
Work with Open API specs, SwaggerHub, Redocly, Azure DevOps, and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and design robust APIs with a focus on scalability, reusability, and security.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to turn vision into reality.
  • Shape and enforce best practices in API development and documentation.
  • Lead solution design processes across multiple workstreams.
  • Set up and optimise CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes (with support from specialists).
  • Guide and mentor developers on integration and platform standards.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in API design, architecture, or integration solutioning.
  • Solid grasp of REST APIs, Open API specs, and authentication protocols.
  • Proficiency in .NET/C# (for that 30% coding piece).
  • Familiarity with tools like SwaggerHub, Redocly, Azure DevOps, and Git.
  • Great communicator — comfortable engaging with stakeholders and mentoring peers.
