Our client is an enterprise organisation that plays a key role in delivering educational services across New Zealand. A large software development programme is mid-flight and is requiring ongoing support from an experienced Project Scheduler or Project Coordinator with planning and scheduling experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Scheduler you will have an engaging nature with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks throughout your day. The schedule has reached a level of general management with you being responsible for gathering progress updates from Project Managers and supporting the upkeep and maintenance of the schedule. There is also the opportunity to discuss this position in a part time capacity.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience working in complex enterprise environments on multiple projects/workstreams at once
- Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining programme schedules
- Strong understanding of programme/project management methodologies, practices and governance
- Proven experience in reporting on project statuses and identifying and mitigating risks
- Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Professional communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills with an engaging presentation approach
- Work in a collaborative style with a delivery focus ensure all tasks, deliverables and milestones are captured and attainable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including required experience with MS Project
