Job description

  • 2 year fixed term opportunity for a Programme Architect
  • PaaS, COTS, Public Cloud, Infrastructure, Applications, and Salesforce
  • Public sector organisation, joining an established programme of work

As a Programme Architect, you will be key to the definition and delivery of the programme of work. You will be a trusted advisor and provide definition, design, and maintenance of the programmes architecture models and standards. Your role will be producing architectural roadmaps for defining the delivery of business capabilities and technology solutions. You will work alongside the business on future business direction, developing technology roadmaps as well as advising on architecture principles, standards, and models.


This government ministry provides key sustainability services to protect New Zealanders across the country. You will be joining a dedicated programme team across business and technology, ensuring the ministry has the technical capabilities to support the growing needs of New Zealanders across the country.


  • Significant background and experience in an Enterprise or Senior Solution Architecture position.
  • Knowledge and experience with TOGAF, or similar architecture frameworks
  • Technical understanding and experience across technology domains such as PaaS, COTS, Cloud, Applications, Infrastructure.
  • Experience ensuring successful delivery of all parts of programmes, achieving business goals with technology solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with technical, non-technical, business, and technology stakeholders.
