ABOUT THE COMPANY
  • My client is a mid range ISP based in the North Shore, and provide a range of IT solutions to their nation-wide customers, including data centre and colocation, managed WAN and internet and hosted infrastructure (cloud hosting). 
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • This position is part of their Technical Support team on a 24/7 roster to provide timely and quality L1 and L2 technical support to their customers over the phone, email and outbound when required.
  • Services you will be supporting include the network and managed hosting related services, which will involve the following duties. 
DUTIES
  • Set up and maintenance of network configurations
  • Installation of equipment
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis of customer incidents via phone, email and outbound when required
  • Server maintenance and management of backup processes
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • ICT degree or relevant qualification preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to customers.
  • Proven ability to complete troubleshooting and support for cloud and network connectivity services with commercial experience in providing L1 helpdesk support to users in Microsoft/Linux/Apple iOS and Android envrionments.
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet and WMware products.
