Recruit IT is working with a Hamilton-based organisation in search of a data guru who can transition the team into a modernised way of working with data and take them on a journey of benefits realisation. You will have the autonomy to build this team up and guide the future of their data practice. This is an opportunity to take this organisation from zero to hero!

We're looking for someone who has led a similar transformation before, moving teams to best practise, introducing cloud technology etc. and can demonstrate the success they've had doing this. 

About you

• Ability to set long-term goals within the data space
• Experience with leading large data teams
• You can look at how this organisation can optimise their data for greater efficiency and cost savings
• A background in Data Science, Data Engineering, and working with technical BI teams
• Strong communication and relationship building skills with high-level stakeholders
