Recruit IT is working with one of the top consultancies within New Zealand and the world, offering an opportunity to shape the future of their data and analytics practice. This role will allow for excellent career growth and to work across some of Wellington's top organisations, taking direct ownership over key client engagements and identifying new business opportunities. You will still be hands-on, working in all areas of data and analytics, designing and developing data models for reporting to support the whole team across a vast array of exciting projects. 

About you:

• Experience leading small data teams is a must
• Experience consulting within different domains
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong ability to identify and acquire new business
• Experience designing data warehouses in different methodologies (star schema, snowflake, etc.), data lakes
• Strong experience with SQL, performance monitoring, query optimisation
• Nice to have experience with the Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI
• Strong experience creating dashboards and visualisations
• Experience with R, Python, SAS, etc. to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
